Ever muttered the words “I’m too old for this”? Or perhaps created your own version of Ted Mosby’s “Murtaugh List”?

I know there have definitely been things removed from the bucket list because I feel that “this old girl’s getting on a bit”.

Well finding this week’s Who’s Awesome was like a big electric prod in this old girl’s bootie!

Johanna Quaas was born in 1925, making her the sprightly age of 88. Johanna has been involved in gymnastics in Germany since 1934 but what makes her particularly awesome is that she is still participating at competitions today.

Her performances caught world wide attention and last year the Guinness Book of Records completed an entry awarding her the title of the Oldest Gymnast in the World. When asked about being included Johanna commented, “It is great feeling to be included and I hope the record inspires others to realise it’s never too late.”

You can check out her performance here and maybe it will inspire you to put something back on that bucket list! Bucking Bull at the Ekka?
